Mama..

So today we celebrate "Mexican Mothers Day". Before you judge and say

"YOU LIVE IN AMERICA. THAT'S DUMB."

I say that I don't have to wait in a long line for a nice dinner with my mom because on American Mothers day all restaurants are jam packed with people. And I like to feel a little bit of my heritage sometimes. It's nice. And mothers day usually lands on a Sunday and as all good Latter-Day Saints know that you never buy or cause others to work on the Sabbath day.
So today we took my mom out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. A favorite of the family. My mom loved it. I also made her soap. An attempted craft executed by my friend Jennifer and I. I haven't given it to her yet because I lack the motivation to drive to Jennifers house. And she sleeps during the day to work at night and I don't really want to bother her. So my mom is just gonna have to wait.
I know how everyone talks about how amazing their mothers are and I know my mom isn't lacking in the AMAZING department. She's up there with the rest of the amazing moms. She made sure I had the best childhood and went to the best schools. She nurtured and cared for me. As most moms should. I look up to my mom. She is my role model. I don't know who or where I would be without her. I wish she was more computer savvy so she could see this post but I don't think that will happen anytime soon.

I love you Mom.
