My Funny Valentine..

My Husband is the kind of person that believes everyday should be valentines day. Which means I should be getting showered with roses and chocolate everyday, right? Wrong. He says that he treats me better then most men treat their wives.. true. I do get spoiled all the time so really I can't complain when I don't get anything for valentines day. But the day did start with my feeling getting hurt when the hubs walks out with a big bunch of balloons, roses, and chocolate covered strawberries... that were not for me. He loads the stuff in the car and tells me that a co-worker is paying him to deliver that stuff to his wife at work. So this means I have to drive all this nice stuff to another woman and I don't get squat.
Well for anyone who knows me, they know I don't take things lying down. I was so mean to the hubs all the way there and on the way back. I just couldn't believe that he didn't get me anything! He could tell that I was upset and said that he would take me to breakfast anywhere. When I mean anywhere, I mean somewhere that has a dollar menu. Its not like I was dressed to go into a nice restaurant anyways. So I decided to go to the fast food place with my all time favorite breakfast. BURGER KING!!!! Seriously! People will argue with me that McDonalds is the best for breakfast but I can't help but to crave a bk breakfast croissant.
After we had breakfast (in the hubs' case, a couple dollar burgers.) we headed home. The plan was for him to sleep and then we would go out to eat and a movie. As we all know things NEVER go as planned. He didn't sleep. So I decided that we shouldn't go to the movies. Even though "Harry Potter" is now being shown in the discount theater and my goal is to see it a hundred times.
We started our evening with a stop at Sonic, where we got some Route 44's. Then we headed toward Round Table. Hands down the best pizza in the world!!!! Its our valentine tradition. There is never anyone there. We have tried going to other sit down restaurants but the wait is always like 4 hours. So this is our new go to place. At one point we were the only people in there. It was very nice. And there were love songs playing. Including this little ditty..

So awesome. So we grubbed on wings and a heart shaped pizza. A group of people started showing up with like a bunch of babies as we finished so I was happy to be out of there. We were so stuffed we couldn't even think about dessert. We came home and our heads hit the pillow and it was lights out for the Schencks. All in all an awesome day. OH! I made the hubs something for v-day but I will post that later because I forgot to get pics. I leave you with our Round Table experience..
